Raised in the picturesque western mountains of Maine, Dody learned the values of hard work and efficiency early on. She recognizes that time is our most precious commodity, and is committed to maximizing yours with her expertise and attention to detail.
Dody moved to Stowe in 1994, where she began her career as the bar manager at The Shed while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management from Champlain College. Captivated by the beauty and community of the area, she embraced her new home, setting aside her wanderlust after years of traveling between Wellfleet, Cape Cod, Newport, RI, and Steamboat Springs, CO, as a dedicated Ski & Surf Bum.
Now, Dody and her family thrive in Vermont, relishing all it has to offer. Their cozy home in the woods of Lamoille County is a hub for outdoor adventures. They enjoy scouting (with her eldest son, Gabe, achieving Eagle Scout in 2021), hiking, biking, gardening, and camping in summer, while winter brings skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Dody also has a passion for yoga, cooking, and spending quality time with their beloved Great Pyrenees, Roxie.
With over 15 years of experience in corporate Marketing and Sales within the online lodging and semiconductor industries, Dody brings a wealth of knowledge to her real estate career. Between 2004 and 2015, she successfully led a design team of ten and managed an external sales force of over 150 affiliates for a leading investment newsletter company. Now, as a realtor, Dody has discovered her true calling, combining her strengths in negotiation, organization, problem-solving, networking, and marketing.

We worked with Dody who was the seller’s agent for a complicated property (it was a partially built house that had been in escrow as the person who was building it died before it was completed). We didn’t have an agent and Dody could not have been more helpful throughout the process.
We saw the property over the holidays, during the week between Christmas and New Years. Even though she was leaving to see family out of town the day after we saw it, she worked with us to ensure her clients had an offer and was responsive and patient with our plethora of questions even during her time with family. She operated with integrity and knew everyone in the area, from builders to electricians to well certifiers to concrete contractors, and connected us with them as needed. The fact that they were all willing to make time for us in such a busy market is indicative of how respected she is by all – we were contacting people on our own as well and almost all of the folks who got back to us did so only to tell us they were too busy and not taking on new jobs. Dody was fair and patient and knowledgable and kind, and I cannot overstate what a joy it was to work with her.
